Recently, the country has issued policy opinions such as the National Special Plan for the Development of E-commerce Logistics (2016-2020), the Guidance on Accelerating the Transformation and Development of my country's Packaging Industry, and the Guidance on Collaboratively Promoting Green Packaging in the Express Industry, putting the greening of logistics on the agenda again.
The continuous expansion of logistics scale has promoted the rapid development of the economy. According to data, in 2016, my country's logistics costs accounted for 14.9% of GDP, nearly double that of developed countries such as the United States, Japan and Germany. The express delivery business volume reached 31.28 billion pieces, and the per capita express delivery usage was close to 23 pieces, a year-on-year increase of nearly 8 pieces.
In order to create a good atmosphere of "green express delivery, everyone can contribute", the application of packaging materials has been gradually standardized, laying the foundation for the development of green logistics. It is understood that in express delivery agreements, the usage rate of electronic waybills by customers reaches more than 90%. This is not only conducive to the promotion of the use of transfer boxes, cages and other equipment, but also conducive to the establishment and formation of a packaging management system for the express industry.
In the packaging report of China's express delivery industry last year, it is not difficult to find that the proportion of carton usage remains high and has become the most polluting packaging material. This is all because the recycling rate of express packaging in my country has always been less than 20%, which cannot be recycled efficiently, which seriously hinders the advancement of green packaging and green logistics for e-commerce.

If the goods do not match the packaging after sorting, it is likely to lead to a waste of efficiency and manpower. The recyclable shared express that appeared some time ago has helped save tens of millions of cartons. The shared express box has helped logistics improve reuse efficiency from the source of materials, indicating that the practice of the sharing concept in the logistics industry does not only exist in logistics parks.
From a professional perspective, the overall greening level of the supply chain plays a vital role in the development of green logistics. How to achieve environmental protection and greening in logistics links is not only to upgrade technology, but also to comprehensively strengthen the formation of scale effects in the new retail era.
Developing green logistics is the only way to achieve sustainable development. I believe that with the joint efforts of enterprises and governments, the green logistics system will be more complete, and the rapid development of the logistics industry is also working towards the goal of a good and fast economy.
